MEET THE COUNSELORS
Bill Burrichter, PhD, LPC
Dr. Bill Burrichter is a native to Lancaster County, where he lives with his wife and three middle/high school aged children. He holds a doctorate in Counseling Psychology in addition to PA Certification as a Professional School Counselor, a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Although having a diverse client case load, his clinical area of focus is working with children and adolescents. Specifically, he works with mood disorders such as depression, grief and loss, anxiety and OCD, ADHD, self-injury (cutting), and conduct and behavioral disorders, and parenting issues in addition to pre-marital and marriage counseling. Dr. Burrichter is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Counseling and Social Work at Lancaster Bible College.
Judson C. Buckwalter, MA, LPC
Judd Buckwalter is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College & Graduate School with Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling. He is certified by the State of Pennsylvainia as a Licenced Professional Counselor. Judd currently teaches in the undergraduate Professional Counseling Program at Lancaster Bible College. Specializing in marriage and family therapy that includes child therapy, relationship conflicts, depression and anxiety disorders, he has worked with clients of various ages from children to the elderly. Judd is married and has four children. He and his family reside in Mount Joy.
Jessica Dixon, M.A.
Jessica received her B.A. in Psychology from Messiah College and Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lancaster Bible College Graduate School. She interned at New Life Counseling for 2 years before becoming a therapist. She currently works with adolescent girls, women, children and couples. Her area of focus includes self-injury, depression, anxiety, identity issues, and relational issues. She has been actively involved in church-based ministries including marriage groups, womens groups, and children and youth ministries for over 8 years and is a member of the American Association for Christian Counselors. Jessica is married and has 2 young children.
Alesia Dunlap, M.A.
Alesia Dunlap is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology and Lancaster Bible College Graduate School. Alesia holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. She works with clients with general counseling issues including relationship conflicts, abuse history, and anxiety issues. She and her husband are partners at LCBC Church. They are the parents of three grown children and a growing number of grandchildren.
Michelle Dixon George MSW, LCSW, BCD
Michelle has been providing mental health treatment for over 22 years. She has a background in psychology and social work and obtained her MSW with a clinical focus from Temple University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Certified Diplomat in Social Work. Competent working with individuals, couples and families from late adolescence to geriatrics, she specializes in the treatment of depressive disorders, anxiety and phobias, trauma and abuse and relationship conflicts. She is married and has one child. Michelle is also the Director of Social Work Field Placements at Messiah College where she teaches in the undergraduate Social Work program.
Deb Rebman, M.Ed.
Deb has been married for 25 years and is currently raising four teenagers. For the past eight years she has been on the counseling staff at Messiah College, and was a previously a counselor at three other Pennsylvania colleges. She is also a graduate student at Lancaster Bible College.Her work with individuals encompasses a variety of concerns including relationship issues, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, self-injury, and eating issues.
Robin W. Wise, B.S.
Robin Wise is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development. She is currently a Master of Arts candidate, in Marriage and Family Counseling, from Lancaster Bible College, degree completion 2011. Robin brings a combination of experience, spirituality and learning to her clinical area of focus in marriage and family therapy. She has worked in women's group and church settings centering on grief issues, depression, anxiety, and relationship conflicts. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Robin has 2 children, is a Yoga practitioner and artist.
